This year will be the 70th Anniversary of the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale! We invite you to join us in the festivities this year from May 13th – 16th, 2021.
We are pleased to announce that the Miles City Jaycees will once again be hosting the Bucking Horse Sale Parade on Saturday, May 15th, 2021. The theme of this year’s parade is “Miles City Strong”.
We are dedicating the Bucking Horse Sale Parade this year to the frontline workers of Miles City to show our appreciation for the individuals, families and businesses who provided their services and support to our community throughout the pandemic, and continue to do so. We truly came together as a community and this kind of love and support shows that we are MILES CITY STRONG!
The “Miles City Strong” parade theme can be represented in a number of ways:
- CCDHS Blue and Yellow
- MCC Blue and Silver
- Blue ribbons to support healthcare workers
- White ribbons to support frontline workers
- Red/yellow ribbons to remember loved ones we lost to Covid-19.
We would be honored to have you join the parade this year! The parade will begin at 9:30am on May 15th, 2021, with line-up starting at 8:30am. The entry fee for the parade is $20.00 per float, mounted unit, walking/marching unit, dance/band/drill team, group/club, business, non-profit organization, or vehicle. If you would like to register an additional unit, the cost is $10 per additional unit. Please have your registrations submitted no later than Friday, May 7th, 2021.
Cash Prizes will be awarded in eight categories with a first prize of $75.00, and a second prize of $50.00 in each category. An overall grand prize of $150.00 will be awarded to the parade entrant who represents our parade theme the best!
