We just wanted to take a moment and say a BIG thank you to everyone who supported the Jaycees Egg My Yard event this year! It was so much fun and a great success!
For those of you who didn’t already know this, we ordered a majority of the pre-filled eggs for this event from Sunny Bunny Easter Eggs, a company that has been providing meaningful employment to people with disabilities since 1966. Thought it was pretty neat and wanted to share that with the rest of you.
The funds raised from Egg My Yard will be used to support our Random Acts of Kindness program. In past years we have donated baskets to the Custer County Fire Fighters to show our appreciation, we have also donated baskets with blankets and puzzle books to the outpatient treatment center for cancer patients, donated money to Keep Miles City Beautiful to help offset the cost of the green waste bins along Haynes Avenue, and donated backpacks and school supplies.
As we make plans for our 2021 Random Acts of Kindness program, we would love to hear ideas from our community on what they would like to see the Jaycees do this year! Give us your ideas in the comments below!
